Swansea hog roasts based on the Gower outside Swansea, have over 14 years of roasting pigs, and proud in that they are all sourced locally from Gower farmers. All are free range and taken only a few miles from their home to the local abattoir, resulting in a mouth watering banquet of high quality pork and crackling.
Hog roasting facts and frequently asked questions:
- The pig takes up to 5 hours depending on conditions to cook
- The average size of the pig is about 50kg, this caters for around 120 people as a meal, e.g with salads or up to 180 filled rolls
- All cooking is done on site for perfect results
- All that is needed on site is one electric socket for the motor (but this can be overcome with a generator).
- We can cater for up to 1000 people

- The roaasting is smokeless with the gas, only cooking fumes.
